Hon Bright Msaka SC moves across to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology making way for a new minister responsible for extractives and energy. Hon Aggrey Masi MP, most recently Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Water and Irrigation, has been appointed the new Minister of Natural Resources, Energy and Mining. He is the third minister to hold this position since the 2014 elections.
Masi is Member of Parliament for Lilongwe City West and member of the Democratic Progressive Party. He has also served as Deputy Minister of Defence.
